Kyle Cutting serves as the Director of Marketing and Fan Experience, overseeing marketing efforts for Volleyball and Men’s Basketball. Cutting joined Washington State in December of 2024.
Prior to Washington State from 2021-24, he served as the Director of Marketing at the University of Idaho. In his time there he oversaw all marketing efforts for the Vandals’ 14 varsity sports, as well as advertising, digital branding, and the implementation of the Vandals’ Kids Club. During his tenure, he saw attendance growth in football, men’s and women’s basketball, and soccer. In 2024, he led a marketing team that saw two silver and one bronze awards from the 2024 NACMA (National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators) for fundraising campaign (silver), year over year revenue increase (silver), and branded dynamic collateral (bronze). He is an active member in the NACMA community.
In addition, Cutting gained valuable experience working multiple NCAA championship events including the 2022 NCAA Women’s Basketball regional, 2024 Men’s Basketball 1st and 2nd round, and the 2025 Women’s Basketball super regional, overseeing marketing efforts as the host institution and in-game experience.
Cutting earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho in 2020 before completing his master's in 2022 at Arkansas State. He resides in Moscow with his wife Phoebe and their two dogs.
