Brad Corbin serves as the Deputy Director of Athletics and Chief Compliance Officer at Washington State University, a role he assumed in spring 2024 after previously serving as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance beginning in February 2021. In his current position, Corbin provides executive leadership and strategic oversight across several key operational areas, including Compliance, Academics, Student-Athlete Development, Facilities, Maintenance, Event Management, Beasley Coliseum, and Information Technology. He also serves as the sport administrator for men’s basketball, swimming, cross country, and track & field.
Prior to joining Washington State, Corbin spent nearly six years at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he ultimately served as Associate Athletics Director for Academics and Compliance. In that role, he oversaw academic support services and compliance operations for the RedHawks. Before his tenure at Miami, Corbin spent just over three years at Murray State University, initially serving as Director of Compliance before being promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance.
Corbin began his career in collegiate athletics during his second year of law school as a compliance intern with the University of Louisville Athletics Department. Following the completion of his Juris Doctor, he accepted a full-time position as Director of Compliance at Murray State University.
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Corbin earned his bachelor’s degree in sport administration from the University of Louisville in 2008 and his Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 2012. Brad and his wife, Brandi, have two children, Eloise and Benjamin, and are active members of the Pullman community who enjoy cheering on the Cougs.
