Bobby Alworth joined WSU Athletics in 2011. He is an assistant director of athletic communications, currently working directly with the Cougar baseball, swimming and football programs.
Prior to Washington State, Alworth worked at the University of California, Riverside as an intern which then led him to Gonzaga University, where he was a graduate assistant for communications. While at Gonzaga Bobby served as the lead contact for baseball, women's soccer, and women's and men's tennis.
Alworth earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Cal Baptist University in 2006. During his time at Cal Baptist Bobby was a member of the Lancers baseball program for three seasons as a catcher. Alworth's career moment on the diamond came during his first season with CBU, as he belted a three-run home run against Culver-Stockton (Mo.).
