Kaysie Shebeneck

Kaysie Shebeneck joined the Washington State volleyball program in May 2017. As operations coordinator, Shebeneck arranges all the team travel and meals, administers the video analysis and scouting service, and coordinates the student-athletes in promotional and community activities. Her duties also include managing the Little Spikers youth clinics and the summer camps.

A native of Racine, Wis., Shebeneck was a two-time Wisconsin Gatorade Prep Volleyball Player of the Year. She led the Burlington High School Demons volleyball team to back-to-back state championship titles (2011 and 2012) after a pair of top five placings. She was a two-time all-state tournament selection, tournament MVP and a two-time all-state first team selection by the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association. Shebeneck was the 2012 All-Area Co-Player of the Year. She was selected to PrepVolleyball.com’s top players by class all four years, an All-American in 2011 and 2012, was named 2011 PrepVolleyball.com’s National Junior of the Year finalist as well as a finalist for the 2012 Andi Collins Award which recognizes the best senior setter in the nation. She was a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Association scholar-athlete 2013 finalist.

Shebeneck played for the Milwaukee Sting Club team for eight years, leading her team to four top-five finishes at the national championships. She earned AAU All-American honors after her club was runners-up in the 17 Open Division at the 2012 AAU Girls Junior National Volleyball Championship.

Kaysie was a setter for the Texas A&M volleyball team where the Aggies tallied four NCAA Championship Tournament bids and won the SEC Conference title in 2015. She earned SEC Academic Honor Roll honors four times and was the team’s Most Inspirational Player in 2014. She graduated in May 2017 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Spanish and International Studies with a minor in Communication.

She has five years of experience as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in Wisconsin, Texas and Chile. Shebeneck was a coach with the Aggie Elite Volleyball Club and coached at the Texas A&M Volleyball Summer Camps.

Shebeneck also coaches the Washington State Men's Club Volleyball Team, and tutors WSU student-athletes. She is currently in her second-year of coaching for Club ZZU Volleyball as well.
