Grant Schoenlein

Grant Schoenlein, now the longest tenured member of the Washington State volleyball staff, joined Cougar Volleyball in 2017 and currently serves as the program's Director of Volleyball Operations.

He was previously a practice player for Washington State Volleyball from 2015-16. Grant served as a Volunteer Coach for Idaho Volleyball from 2016-17 as well.  Grant's sister, Casey Schoenlein (WSU volleyball, 2014-17), was an All-Pac-12 performer and the program's first Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year award winner as a senior in 2017.

Schoenlein completed his Bachelor's degree from Washington State University in 2016 in Business - Finance. He is currently married to Shyanne Schoenlein, and they have a dog named Jacks, and are expecting their first child, a daughter, in December of 2021. Schoenlein enjoys playing golf, swimming, skiing, roasting coffee and traveling.
