Attended Issaquah High School in Washington…as a FRESHMAN, finished seventh in the 100 fly at the WIAA 4A State Championships…as a SOPHOMORE, finished fifth in the 50 free and eighth in the 100 fly at the 4A State Championships…as a JUNIOR, won the 4A State Championship in the 50 free and placed third in the 100 fly…also swam for the Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club.
