Cougars Win 7 Titles, Finish Second at Mountain West Championships

HOUSTON (February 21, 2026) – Washington State Swimming closed the Mountain West Conference Championships with two more titles on the final day to finish second overall Saturday afternoon in Houston.

The Cougars saw sophomore Darcy Revitt win the 100 free and the 400 free relay team of Barbora Mileisyte, Issabelle Parrish, Emily Lundgren and Revitt win. WSU finished second behind champion San Diego State, 1367.5-1102.5. Washington State finished with seven titles and Revitt was named Co-Swimmer of the Meet. Sophomore Tatum Janning was third in the 1650 free and senior Emily Lundgren was second in the 200 breast.

WSU's second-place finish is the best finish at a conference championship in program history.

In the morning prelims, senior Anna Rauchholz opened the day with a WSU-Top-10 time in the 200 back after going 1:56.33 for the third-best mark in WSU history. Ashlyn Hernandez added another Top-10 time in the 200 breast after going 2:11.39 for the fifth-best mark in program history. Revitt opened her day with a 47.45 in the 100 free to break her own school record, the Mountain West record and the pool record.

Rauchholz and Castro both made the 200 back final, Revitt and Mileisyte made the 100 free finals and Lundgren and Hernandez both made the 200 breast final.

In the evening finals, freshman Vivien Nett posted a 16:49.71 for the ninth-nest 1650 free mark in program history, freshman Avery Bulkley went 16:38.80 for the seventh-best mark in program history and Janning led the way with a 16:28.54 for a third-place finish and the fourth-best mark in program history.

Revitt won the 100 free with a 47.79, Lundgren went 2:07.04 to place second in the 200 breast and the 400 free relay team.

Next up for the Cougars will be the NCAA Championships March 18-21 in Atlanta.
