What?s New at Bailey-Brayton Field for 2015 Season

PULLMAN, Wash. – Fans arriving this weekend for the 2015 WSU baseball team‘s home opener will notice many fan improvements to Bailey-Brayton Field and the Cougar baseball program.
First and foremost, assistant coach Joe Ross joined the program last fall, bringing with him 30 years of successful coaching experience, including the last five as a scout for the Seattle Mariners.
Fans will also notice new branding elements on the padded outfield walls, backstop and in front of each dugout. The outfield padding features WSU’s solid crimson color with gray diagonal stripes stretching from the foul poles toward centerfield. The backstop padding includes Washington State in WSU’s distinctive font with Pac-12 logos on each side while the front of the dugouts are now all crimson.
The Friday Night Bullpen will feature a pregame tailgate open two hours prior to first pitch, with food, refreshments and adult beverage options available from South Fork Public House. These will occur every home Friday night throughout the season.
Additional features new for the 2015 season include:
- Cougar Fit Kids program changes – all elementary students wearing Cougar Fit Kids T-shirts can still attend games for free. This year, they can put a sticker on our attendance tracker and win prizes the more games they attend
- Saturday’s – postgame autographs after Pac-12 games
- Pullman School Days – one Saturday throughout the season, each Pullman elementary and middle school, will receive complimentary tickets for students and staff. Students will get to participate in pregame, in-game and postgame activities
- Season Ticket Holder benefits
- One card for the entire season
- Ticket Transfer if you can’t attend a game
- Early entry into Mom’s Weekend games (90 minutes before first pitch)
- Complimentary youth entry and giveaway for ‘Have A Catch Day’ (May 23 vs. Stanford)
- Guaranteed 100 giveaways held for season ticket holders only
- Butch T-shirts – Feb. 26 vs. UC Riverside
- Baseball ¾ sleeve tee – Mar. 27 vs. UCLA
- Drawstring bag – May 9 vs. Oregon
- Starting lineup and starting pitcher poster next to the concessions stand
The Cougars begin their 2015 home season Thursday when they host UC Riverside in the first of a four-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Bailey-Brayton Field.
