WSU Varsity Four Highlights a Solid Day of Cougar Rowing
Each varsity four boat defeated its Husky counterpart Friday.
WSU CAREER: As a FRESHMEN (2011-12) competed with the second varsity four in the fall season and the novice eight in the spring season...led the novice squad to victories in the novice eight events at the Washington, Gonzaga and Oregon State duals...Oregon State victory helped the Cougars capture the Winchell Cup for the third consecutive year...competed in novice boat at Pac-12 Championships.
CLUB CAREER: Rowed for the Green Lake Crew Club for coaches Erika Sweet and Coby Stites.
HIGH SCHOOL: As a junior, won the US Rowing Erg Competition for high school girls at regionals ...boat was invited to the Pacific-10 Challenge during senior year of high school...attended the high performance camp for coach Tony Carr.
PERSONAL: Kellen Peck Srb...born in July of 1993...father Brian works in sales...mother Linda is a music director... brother Jonah...enjoys art, swimming, reading, and playing sports...interested in pursuing a degree in psychology at Washington State.
