FRESHMAN (1999-2000): Outdoor - Walk-on who made an impact with NCAA PQ javelin toss of 47.36m/155-4 to open the season at Willie Williams Classic (3/18/00, Tucson)…mark was WSU's freshman school record…also sixth-best in Pac-10 all-time records for new javelin (1999 first year)…finished fifth in javelin at Pac-10 Championships with throw of 43.28m/142-0 (5/21/00, Eugene).
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned ten varsity letters at University High including four in track for coach Bob Barbero…given most improved award as a FRESHMAN…set freshman record with best javelin effort of 114-5…SOPHOMORE season improved to 133-7 to set a school record…won the district and state championship meet…again named most improved…as a JUNIOR finished sixth at the state championships but improved her school record to 134-9…SENIOR year given coach’s award…named first-team all-league…won district meet and finished second at state…high school best of 143-2.
