coming as close as 10-12 before kills by Smith and Spink, blocks by Rouse,
Erickson and Stinson and a kill by Stinson gave WSU the game 15-10.

The rally-scoring fifth game saw UW score six to WSU's two before three
Husky hitting errors brought the Cougs within one at 5-6. Laffling then
took over with strong net play to put UW in control 11-5 before Smith
scored a point for WSU. But the game and match went to the Dawgs, 15-9.
