WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2017): Outdoor - Uncorked a great throw of 50.28m/164-11, fifth-best in WSU history, to win the javelin at the WSU-UW Dual meet…next week heaved a PR throw of 52.32m/171-8 at the Cougar Invite (4/29/17, Pullman)….mark is third-best in school history and the freshman school record…scored fifth at Pac-12 Championships (47.84m/156-11)…at NCAA West Region finished 19th (46.03m/151-0).

PRE-WSU CAREER. Highly accomplished thrower in native Serbia…won one state junior indoor pole vault and two shot put championship titles…at state youth and junior championships, won pole vault title and four javelin titles…back-to-back javelin titles at both winter state junior and senior championships…at European Youth Olympic Trials, threw 500g javelin 51.88m/170-2 for Serbian Youth record and sixth place in competition…at European Junior Championships threw 600g javelin 50.71m/166-4 (10th)…national awards include best Serbian youth track and field athlete in 2014 and best junior track and field athlete in 2015…PR mark in javelin of 52.07m/170-10 came in July 2015 in Pitesti, Romania…Vojvodina Athletics Club team with father/coach Ferenc Kamasi named best track and field club four consecutive years.

Born in October 1997 in Novi Sad, Serbia…father Ferenc Kamasi is a track and field coach…mother Ksenija Vukovic Kamasi cares for the elderly…sisters Sofia and Lara…studied first aid for three years…4.0 out of possible 5.0 GPA…attended University of Medicine in Novi Sad, Serbia…undecided on area of study at WSU.
