Longisa Shows Fight, Comes Up Short at World Indoor Championships

Kujawy Pomorze, Poland – Rosemary Longisa finished 26th in her first-ever World Indoor Championships. Her 800-meter time of 2 minutes and 3.48 seconds was a personal best for the Sophomore, representing Kenya. Longisa showed fight in her first time representing her country at the global level.
Longisa and the rest of the WSU track team will start their outdoor season April 2-4 at the Stanford Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Invitational.
