Spanish Pro Adria Rodriguez Signs with WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. – Adria Rodriguez, an incoming senior from Barcelona, Spain, signed a financial aid agreement (F.A.A.) with Washington State men's basketball to compete for the Cougs in the 2025-26 season, head coach David Riley announced Thursday.
Rodriguez, is a 6-foot 4-inch guard has played the last two seasons professionally with Lucentum Alicante in the Spanish second division, Primera FEB. The lengthy guard played 34 games in the 2024-25 season for the Valencian club, averaging 8.1 points per game for the first time. Rodriguez shot over 52% from 2-point range and 38% from beyond the arc, while dishing out 2.7 assists per game and grabbing 1.4 steals.
Alicante finished in the middle of the table, qualifying for the league playoffs, while Rodruiguez scored in double figures 15 times, averaging just over 21 minutes per game. He has also played with Spain's youth national teams, most recently with the U20 side. The incoming Spaniard will classify as a senior, as a 22-year-old born in 2003.
Rodriguez is the ninth student-athlete to sign an F.A.A. with WSU this offseason, joining freshmen Dio Blakely, Aaron Glass, and Dominik Robinson, alongside transfers Simon Hildebrandt, Brunel Madzou, Jerone Morton, Emmanuel Ugbo, and Eemili Yalaho.
