Warren also served as the Phoenix-based club's Girls College Director, overseeing the development and recruitment of prospective college student-athletes, including incoming WSU freshman Ava Ghoreishi.

Prior to taking over the UAB program, Warren spent most of his career on the west coach, serving as the associate head coach at USC and helping the Trojans win the NCAA Division-I national championship in 2007.

"I'm extremely excited to join the Cougar Family," Warren said. "It's an honor to be hired by Coach Todd Shulenberger and I look forward to working with the staff and student-athletes."

Following USC and UAB, Warren served as an assistant coach at Syracuse before joining Yavapai College where he helped guide the Roughriders to a postseason appearance in the NJCAA Division I Region I Championship.
