PULLMAN, Wash. (May 24, 2024) – Washington State rowing graduate student
Eliza Dawson was named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team Friday afternoon.
Dawson was an impactful member of the WSU 1V8 boat all season, and ended the season at the Pac-12 Championships where the eight placed fifth in 6:46.36. Earlier in the season, she helped the Cougar 1V8 win their event at the 2024 Wheeler Invitational in 6:53.35 over then No. 16 ranked Duke.
Members of the All-Conference rowing teams are based upon each institution's finish in the Varsity 8 race at the Pac-12 Championships, which were held at Lake Natoma in Gold River, California. The Conference champion provides four members of the All-Conference team, the second-place crew provides three members, and the third-place finisher provides two. All other participating crews receive one selection each.
