PULLMAN, Wash. — 10th-ranked Washington State volleyball (26-7) will carry a seven-match winning streak into the second weekend of the postseason this week as it travels to the East Coast to play at top-seeded Pitt (24-7) Thursday at 11:30 a.m. PST on ESPNU. Thursday's match in Pittsburgh will be the Cougars' first Sweet 16 match since 2018 and will be the 12th top-25 match of the season for an experienced Cougar team that is 7-4 so far against ranked teams.

Pia Timmer each earned first team honors, while

Katy Ryan, and
Argentina Ung were each named as honorable mention selections in last week's all-conference release.

Jehlářová's first team selection makes her the first athlete in the conference's history to achieve five career first team honors.

Argentina Ung was named honorable mention all-region.

Jehlářová surpassed UCLA's Marissa Hatchett (1989-92) for the all-time lead in career blocks last weekend and is the WSU and NCAA rally-scoring leader with 766.

Timmer picked up her 150th-career ace in Saturday's win against Dayton, tying her former teammate Penny Tusa for the WSU all-time record. Timmer is third all-time at Washington State in career kills and is only three kills shy of becoming only the third player to reach 1,700 in her career.

Argentina Ung ranks 27th in the nation this season with 10.51 assists/set and has the Cougars' offense on pace to set a new all-time record with a .289 hitting percentage as a team, the 11th-best mark in the NCAA this season.

Ung is into the top-10 all-time at WSU in career assists (2,488) with only two seasons as a starting setter. She has averaged 2.07 digs/set this season, to go along with 116 kills and begins the second week of the tournament only three blocks shy of 100 on the season.
>> WSU finished last Friday's NCAA first round win over GCU with a .375 team hitting percentage in a three-set win to open the postseason, improving to
14-0 this season when hitting .300 or better as a team.

Jen Greeny became only the second coach at Washington State to reach
three-consecutive 20-win seasons, having played on the most recent team to achieve the feat back in 1995-98. The Cougars have already reached their
highest win total (26) during Greeny's tenure as head coach.
