GAME INFORMATION - AT UCLA
After three-straight at home the Cougs head back on the road to begin the backend of conference play beginning with a rematch against UCLA Thursday night in Westwood. The Cougs beat the Bruins in overtime, 79-71, for their first Pac-12 win of the season in early January.
CJ Elleby hit the game-tying three in the final seconds of regulation while
Isaac Bonton took over in the overtime period scoring eight points to lead the way to the win. The Bruins enter the game coming off an upset of Arizona, 65-62, in Tucson and have won three of four including sweeping Colorado and Utah inside Pauley two weeks ago.
The Cougs have struggled in LA having won just three times with the last win coming in 2009.

A career day from
CJ Elleby (34 pts, 10 rbds) led the Cougs to a run-away win over Washington in the first half of the Boeing Apple Cup Series Sunday afternoon at Beasley. ELLEBY TOP PAC-12 PLAYER, AGAIN
Star
CJ Elleby was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for the week ending on Feb. 9, the conference office announced Monday. Elleby, who also earned the top award Jan. 18, is the first WSU player to earn multiple weekly awards in a season since Brock Motum in 2012-13 and the first underclassmen since the legend Klay Thompson went back-to-back in November of 2009.
In the first half of the Boeing Apple Cup rivalry series with Washington, Elleby, a Seattle native, put on a show against the team from the West Side as the second year Coug led WSU to a convincing, 79-67, win over the Huskies Sunday afternoon. Elleby was nearly unstoppable throughout the day as the star forward scored a career-high 34 points while grabbing 10 rebounds to nab his fourth double-double of the season. In addition, Elleby was stellar on the defensive end, hounding the Huskies on the perimeter while protecting the paint as well to the tune of a career-best three blocks.
