PULLMAN, Wash. - No. 20 Washington State came from behind for a 31-24 victory over Houston at the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff played at NRG Stadium last Friday.

GAME NOTES
•      WSU won the toss and elected to receive
•      Renard Bell was the team captain for the 3^rd straight game
•      Attendance: 40,523

TEAM NOTES
•      WSU improves to 3-0 for the 3^rd straight season
•      WSU recorded 2 takeaways (2 FUM), improves to 26-5 over the last 4+ seasons when forcing multiple turnovers

PLAYER NOTES
•      Freshman Cosmas Kwete made his collegiate debut, appearing on kickoff return, finished with 3 tackles, 1 fumble recovery
•      Anthony Gordon threw 3 TD passes, upping his season total to 12, recorded his 3^rd straight 400-yard game
•      Max Borghi scored his 4^th rushing TD of the season, 12^th of his career
