THIS WEEK - After the conclusion of regular season play last week, the Cougars head back to Eugene, Ore., for the second time in a month for the Pac-12 Championships, hosted by Oregon Monday through Wednesday, April 22-24 at the Eugene Country Club.

THE TOURNAMENT - Four rounds will be played over the course of three days...teams will play 36 holes Monday, with tee times beginning at 7:15 a.m....the Cougars tee off at 8:21 a.m., beginning from the 10
th tee...the third round will tee off Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m., and will begin Wednesday at 8 a.m.... Pac-12 Network will broadcast the third and final day of the Pac-12 Championships, April 24 at 2 p.m.

THE COURSE - Organized in 1899, the Eugene Country Club is the second oldest country club in the state of Oregon...the 7,044-yard course plays at a par 71, was built in 1923 and features a tricky dogleg on Hole 15.

THE FIELD - Taking the green with the Cougars will be all 11 other Pac-12 schools; No. 2 Arizona State, No. 6 USC, No. 11 California, No. 16 Stanford, No. 37 UCLA, No. 39 Oregon, No. 44 Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State, Utah and Washington.

LAST TIME ON THE GREEN - Washington State last hit the links April 12-14 for the El Macero Classic...the Cougars placed 12th after shooting a three-round score of 304 (+16)...junior
Scott Redelsperger led the Cougars, tying for 47th after carding a 228 (+12) through three days of competition...junior
Daniel Kolar and sophomore
Ryan Maine tied for 53rd, both with scores of 230 (+14)...senior
AJ Armstrong (+15, 231) was just one stroke behind the duo in a tie for 58th with junior

LAST TIME AT THE PAC-12 CHAMPIONSHIPS - Last April, Washington State men's golf posted its best finish at the Pac-12 Championships, placing seventh with a score of 1412 (-8) through all four rounds...then-senior
Zach Anderson (-9, 275) capped off his Cougar career as he tied for eighth, marking the fourth-best finish in school history and the best four-round score at the championships by a Cougar…he became just the 11th Cougar to pick up all-conference honors as he was named Pac-12 Honorable Mention, the first WSU golfer to pick up the accolades since 2014…then-senior
Derek Bayley and then-juniors
AJ Armstrong and
Grant Cole tied for 23rd, all scoring 283 (-1)...then-senior
Brian Mogg (+4, 288) tied for 45th...then-freshman
Ryan Maine rounded off the Cougars in a tie for 69th with a four-round score of 301 (+17). USC took first in the Pac-12 Championships last year, with Justin Suh (-16, 268) winning the individual title.

COACHES - Head coach
Dustin White leads the Cougars into the postseason as his third year as head coach comes to an end...White first returned to the Palouse in 2016 to take the head coach position after golfing for the Cougars from 1999-2003...he was one of the most decorated Cougars in program history, earning three All-Pac-12 Selections, including a first team selection in 2002...White even holds a school record for top-10 finishes (8), which includes a first place finish and National Player of the Week honors...before coming back to Pullman, White spent time as a professional golfer, even qualifying for and participating in the 2006 U.S. Open...assisting White is first year assistant coach
Kevin Tucker...Tucker is another product of Washington State golf, swinging
the clubs for the Cougars from 2006-10...while at WSU, he became just the second Cougar to participate in an NCAA Regional Championship his junior year, returning the following year...Tucker found his way back home in 2018, returning to the Cougars as an assistant coach after spending a few years touring the country as a professional golfer himself.
