COUG QUOTES
Head Coach Kamie Ethridge on Tonight's Win: "I'm excited for our team to get on the winning track. We played an unbelievably scrappy team tonight, they were a high-risk, high-reward and exposed us a bit in the first half. It's a team that plays a bit unorthodox, so it took us a bit to figure out how to guard them a little bit better. At half we addressed somethings and ended up having a great defensive second half."
Coach Ethridge her Team's Offensive Output: "It's good to put some points on the board and it was good to see Bobi create baskets for herself and be aggressive in the post. We moved the ball well tonight and found some easy baskets. Turnovers are still a concern, and we need to find some more people who can consistently score for us, but overall it was a good night."
Coach Ethridge on Hristova's Double-Double: "Bobi is a great offensive player, but we put the challenge to her this year to be a better defensive player, and in so many ways, that entails rebounding. She made a big commitment (in the offseason) and she is improving. We've got to continue to stay on her, because she is going to be on the floor a lot and we need to start expecting those type of performances from her more."
