WEEK PREVIEW
Washington State returns to action on a short week, taking on the Beavers of Oregon State, Thursday, Nov. 7 on the road at 6 p.m. on the road inside Gill Coliseum. The Cougars  have won the last two meetings against OSU, including earlier this season at home by a score of 3-0.Â
WSU then travels to Eugene to face the Ducks of Oregon, Sunday, Nov. 10 with a start time of 12 p.m. The Cougars defeated the Ducks earlier this season at home, 3-1, and now will be looking for the first regular season sweep of Oregon since 2003.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
The week ten American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Coaches Poll sees the Cougars check in in at No. 24 overall, after splitting the week against UCLA and USC. The Pac-12 overall currently has six teams ranked in the top 25 as Stanford (5), Washington (14), Utah (16), California (21), UCLA (23) and the Cougars all represent the conference. The RichKern poll keeps WSU at No. 20 this week, and the Pablo Rankings shifts the Cougars to No. 15 as well.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

Magda JehláÅ™ová was selected as the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 3 as announced by the Pac-12 Conference office Monday. JehláÅ™ová was pivotal in matches against No.25 UCLA and USC as the Cougars went 1-1 overall over the weekend inside Bohler Gym. Magda posted stats of 20 kills, a .429 hitting percentage, and 2.86 kills per set on offensive to power WSU's attack. She went on to record 10 total blocks, and 1.43 blocks per set through two matches on defense as well. She also leads the Pac-12 in total blocks (132), and blocks per set (1.53).
LAST TIME OUT
No. 22 WSU volleyball got back on track Sunday afternoon, defeating the Trojans of USC in four sets inside Bohler Gym. Set scores from the match were: 25-21, 22-25, 25-23 and 27-25 in favor of WSU (19-5, 8-4 Pac-12). Washington State completed the season sweep of USC with the 3-1 victory Sunday afternoon, marking the first regular season sweep of the Trojans by the Cougars since 1986.
Magda JehláÅ™ová dominated the match as the freshman led WSU in kills with 13, along with hitting .455 overall, and led the Cougars in total blocks with six. Senior
Alexis Dirige continued to hit milestones, as she reached 2,000 digs in her career this afternoon. Dirige now also sits at 13th all-time in Pac-12 history in the stat category.
