Cougar Golf Inks Preston Bebich

| By:
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State Men's Golf Coach Dustin White has added Preston Bebich to the 2020 incoming class, it was announced Wednesday. Bebich joins Max Sekulic, Nate Plaster and Jaden Cantafio, who signed their National Letters of Intent earlier this month, in this year's signing class and will begin at WSU in August of 2020.

"We're excited about Preston and what he brings to the program," said White. "He played a lot of solid golf this year and we think he's just getting started. He wants to compete against the best of the Pac-12 Conference and is a great addition to our 2020 class."

Bebich, from Gig Harbor, Wash., has had a decorated high school career, earning varsity letters in each of his first three years at Peninsula High School. As a freshman, Bebich earned first-team all-league honors and competed in the state tournament. He was a medalist in the Tim Higgins Memorial Golf Tournament and finished seventh at the State 3A Tournament during his sophomore season. As a junior, he finished sixth in state and was named the Tacoma Athletic Commission Athlete of the Year for Boys Golf.
