WEEK PREVIEW
The Cougars are back in Bohler Gym this weekend, first hosting the No. 25 ranked Bruins of UCLA Friday, November 1 with first serve slated for 7:00 p.m. Washington State is 3-2 in the previous five matchups against UCLA, having won the last two meetings inside Bohler Gym as well.Â
Washington State will then host the Trojans of USC Sunday, November 3 at noon inside Bohler Gym. The series is split 3-3 in the last six meetings dating back to 2016, with the Cougars winning two of the matches at home also.Â
NATIONAL RANKINGS
The week nine American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Coaches Poll moves the Cougars up to No. 22 in the nation after picking up wins over Colorado and No. 18 Utah on the road a week ago. The Pac-12 overall currently has six teams ranked in the top 25 as Stanford (5), Washington (12), Utah (17), California (20), UCLA (25) and the Cougars all represent the conference. The RichKern poll ranks WSU at No. 20 this week, and the Pablo Rankings moves the Cougars up to No. 12 as Washington State welcomes the LA schools into Bohler Gym this weekend.

Alexis Dirige recorded eight total digs last Thursday on the road against Colorado in the 3-0 victory to become the new Washington State Volleyball all-time career digs leader. Dirige currently has totaled 1,978 digs, passing Kate Sommer (2012-15) on the all-time career list. Alexis is also number two overall in WSU Volleyball history in career digs per set at 4.29 as well, just behind Oceana Bush (2009-10) at 4.30 overall.

WSU volleyball continued their winning ways Sunday afternoon, knocking off No. 18 ranked Utah on the road in five sets. Set scores from the match were: 23-25, 25-15, 24-26, 28-26, and 16-14 in favor of WSU (18-4, 7-3 Pac-12). Freshman
Magda JehláÅ™ová continued to be dominate on both offense and defense, leading the Cougars in multiple categories on the day. Magda posted a career high 18 kills in the contest, with a hitting percentage of .607 to guide WSU to victory. She went on to lead WSU in blocking as well with eight total against the Utes. Along with JehláÅ™ová, Washington State saw three other Cougars with double-digit kills as
