Pac-12 Names 38 Cougars to T&F All-Academic Teams

WSU earns 10 total First Team selections.

SAN FRANCISCO – Thirty-Eight Washington State University Track and Field student-athletes have been named to the 2019 Pac-12 All-Academic teams, announced by the conference Tuesday morning.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor, and have completed at least one year in residence at their current institution.

The Cougars thirty-eight overall selections ranks third in the Pac-12 during 2019, behind Washington (41), and Stanford (39).

MARK YOUR CALENDAR
Washington State Track and Field will next see four total student-athletes head to Austin, Texas to compete at the NCAA Championships. Brock Eager advanced in the hammer throw, Nick Johnson in the 110m hurdles, and Peyton Fredrickson and Mitch Jacobson in the high jump. The NCAA Championships will begin Wednesday, June 5 inside Mike A. Myers Stadium.
