STANFORD, Calif. – The Washington State University women's golf team finished 10th at the Peg Barnard Invitational, Sunday, at Stanford Golf Course.
The Cougars shot 16-over par (300) in the final round to bring its two-round score to 606 (+38). Three Pac-12 competitors finished in the top-three as no team shot under par. No. 1 Stanford led each of the two rounds and won the tournament at 571 (+3), 10 strokes ahead of second-place finisher Oregon (+13, 581). Colorado finished third at 587 (+19).
Leading the team was senior Cherokee Kim, who moved 15 spots up the leader board from the first round. Kim carded four birdies on the day and tied for 18th place (+7, 149), her third top-25 finish of the season.
Freshman Marie Lund-Hansen finished two strokes back of Kim to tie for 29th place (+9, 151). Junior Alivia Brown shot 4-over in the second round and tied for 38th place (+11, 153). 
Sophomore Madison Odiorne carded a two-round score of 156 and tied for 46th (+14). Freshman Elodie Bridenne finished one stroke behind Odiorne to tie for 48th place (+15, 157).
The Cougars will return to the green Feb. 26-27, at Peoria, Ariz., for the Westbrook Spring Invitational.
