Cougar Alums to Compete at Head of the Charles

The Head of the Charles is the second-largest two-day race in the world.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Several former members of the Washington State rowing team will compete at the 53rd Head of the Charles Regatta, Oct. 21-22 at the Charles River at Boston, Mass.

Saturday, the alumni four will race in the Women's Club Fours event at 10:57 a.m. PT as bow number 26, featuring Erika Jorgensen (2007-10), Daiva Tacionyte (2003-05), Jill Hannink (2015-17) and a former Western Washington rower. Recent Cougar alum, Savannah Davison (2013-15) will race in the Women's Championship Singles at 1:26 p.m. PT, with bow number 20.

Sunday's racing will feature Ieva Adomaviciute (2013-17) rowing six seat of the Great Eight (bow number 3) in the Women's Championship Eights event, as well as Nicole Hare (2013-17) in the Canadian eight (bow number 5), at 11:22 p.m. PT.
