THIS WEEK: The Washington State University men's golf team will travel to Tucson, Ariz., to kick off its spring season at the Arizona Intercollegiate, Jan. 23-24.
THE TOURNAMENT: The two-day tournament will take place at the Sewailo Golf Club, a par-71, 7,262-yard track…the first two rounds will begin Monday with a shotgun start at 7 a.m. PT/8 a.m. MT...the final 18 holes will be played Tuesday, beginning at 7:30 a.m. PT...the lowest four of five scores will be counted each round for the team total.
THE FIELD: Joining Washington State and host-school Arizona in the 18-team field will be BYU, California, Denver, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Louisiana Tech, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oregon, Pepperdine, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois, Texas A&M, UCLA, UTEP, and Washington...Texas A&M (23rd) is currently ranked in the top-25.

FALL RECAP: The Cougars' fall season was highlighted by a victory at the Itani Quality Homes Intercollegiate, where
Nick Mandell captured his first individual tournament win and eight Cougars finished in the top-25…the men placed 11th at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate and improved to eighth at both the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational and Paintbrush Invitational…the men tied for 10th at the Saint Mary's Invitational, their final fall tournament of the season…eight Cougars combined for 13 top-25 finishes to conclude the fall season.
COACHING STAFF: The team is led by first-year head coach
Dustin White…White was an assistant coach at WSU before accepting the head coach position…White golfed for the Cougars from 1999-2003…assistant coach
Chris Gilbert joined the WSU coaching staff this season…Gilbert graduated from Kansas in 2013 and turned pro the same year before accepting the assistant coach position.
