WOLCOTT, Colo. – The Washington State women's golf team (+18, 594) is tied for fifth place with Old Dominion after shooting 18-over par through two rounds at the Golfweek Conference Challenge, Tuesday, at Red Sky Golf Club.
The Cougars moved up four spots on the leaderboard, improving by eight strokes and shooting 5-over par in the second round. WSU trails leader San Diego State (-9, 567) by 27 strokes. Pepperdine (+4, 580) and Tennessee (+7, 583) are in second and third, respectively.Â
Junior Alivia Brown is tied for fourth place (-2, 142), shooting 3-under par with six birdies in the second round. Brown trails leader Natalie Vivaldi of San Diego State by three strokes.
Senior Cherokee Kim and freshman Marie Lund-Hansen are tied for 37th place, with a two-round score of 151 (+7). Kim improved by seven strokes and the duo carded nine birdies in the second round.
Sophomore Madison Odiorne is tied for 47th place (+9, 153) after shooting 5-over par in the second round. Junior Bree Wanderscheid is tied for 73rd place with a two-round score of 158 (+14).
