Changes Made to WSU Men?s Basketball Ticketing
April 29, 2016 | Men's Basketball
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State Athletics has made changes to its 2016-17 ticketing for men's basketball in an effort to enhance the game day experience at Beasley Coliseum, it was announced Friday. Additionally, season ticket prices in nine lower-bowl sections have been reduced from last year.
For the 2016-17 season, tickets in the upper bowl will no longer be available for purchase, including season tickets. Those currently with season tickets in the upper bowl will be contacted by a WSU athletics ticket employee and will have the opportunity to select new seats in the lower bowl between June 6 and June 17.
“We realize this is a change from previous years, however, a full lower bowl will greatly improve the gameday atmosphere and provide a better experience for our players, coaches and fans,” said WSU Deputy Director of Athletics Mike Marlow. ”Additionally, we have reduced season ticket prices in many sections throughout the lower bowl, and when demand dictates, can expand seating options throughout the entire building.”
To accommodate season ticket holders who held upper bowl seats, WSU Athletics will make value plan season tickets available for $400 for four tickets or $120 for a single ticket, with no CAF membership required in the lower bowl. Lower bowl season ticket prices in sections 4,5, and 6 will be $300, a decrease of $65 from last season. In sections 12 and 16, season tickets prices are also reduced from $445 to $350, a savings of $95.
Sections 8,10,18 and 20, above player entrances to Friel Court, will now be $250, a savings of $65 from 2015-16 prices. Please reference the Beasley Coliseum map attached and at this link for more information about seating locations and pricing.
Season ticket renewals for those not affected by the change will take place June 20 through July 29. Season ticket requests are currently being accepted at www.wsucougars.com.
