“Anytime we can come in and get a win in somebody else's gym it's always a good thing,” Cougar Head Coach Jen Greeny said. “This is a very talented Idaho team and I thought we played pretty well most of the time. I was really proud of this team and it was a great weekend. Kyra had incredible numbers this weekend. She has really done a lot, not only on the court but leadership-wise and I'm really proud of the way she's progressing with her all-around game.”
Washington State hosts the Cougar Challenge tournament next week, with Morehead State, Ball State and Utah Valley University coming to Pullman for matches Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12, in Bohler Gym.
