Volleyball to LA for Top-Ranked Pac-12 Foes

WSU VOLLEYBALL HEADS TO LA TO TAKE ON NO. 2 USC AND NO. 11 UCLA
The Washington State University volleyball team (12-2, 1-1), travels to Los Angeles to take on No. 2 USC (14-0, 2-0) Friday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Galen Center, and No. 11 UCLA (10-2, 1-1* pending 10/2 vs. No. 5 Washington) Sunday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. in the John Wooden Center...listen to Steve Grubbs, LIVE in the Palouse on KQQQ-AM radio (1150 AM) and online at wsucougars.com...both matches also live-streamed through www.Pac-12.com.

Jen Stinson Greeny is in her fifth season as WSU's head coach (65-78 at WSU, 5 years; 178-102 in career, 9 years) - complete Greeny bio on page 5...assistant coaches Burdette Greeny (fifth year) and Shannon Hunt (third year)...all coaches are former WSU student-athletes...volunteer coach James Dorr (first year)...Katie Hinrichs is coordinator of operations (fifth year).
WSU RANKED 43rd IN PREPVOLLEYBALL.COM COLLEGE TOP 50
The WSU volleyball team made its debut in PrepVolleyball.com College Top 50 rankings at No. 43 this week...the Cougars tallied an 11-1 non-conference record and last week opened Pac-12 play by taking then-No. 6 Washington to five sets...two nights later WSU swept Utah 3-0 for the 11th straight-sets win of the season...other Pac-12 Conference members and their PrepVolleyball.com rankings for this week include: 4. USC, 5. Washington, 6. Arizona State, 10. Stanford, 12. Arizona, and 36. Oregon.
