PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State dropped the series-opener to the University of Arizona 14-5 at Bailey-Brayton Field Friday Night.
The Cougars (24-20, 7-12 Pac-12) took an early lead scoring twice in the first. Both Elliott and Sagdal advanced 90-feet on a sacrifice fly by Ben Roberts and P.J. Jones scored Sagdal with a two-out RBI single through the left side. Roberts finished the night 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a RBI.
