The Washington State University volleyball team (14-8 overall, 3-7 Pac-12) is home this weekend for a pair of matches against the top-ranked Pac-12 Conference LA schools...No. 8 UCLA (17-3, 8-2) is in Bohler Gym Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m...children will have a opportunity for Trick-or-Treating, a Costume Contest, and children in costume are admitted at no charge...WSU women's basketball will sign autographs pregame...Sunday, Nov. 1, No. 1 USC (22-0, 10-0*pending 10/30 match at No. 5 UW) comes to Pullman for a 12:30 p.m. match...this is Volleyball Youth Day and all players in uniform tops or team t-shirts are admitted without charge while family members of Youth players pay only $2 each...after the match there is a Free one-hour Serving Clinic for players in grades 6 through 12...both matches will be webcast live through www.Pac-12.com.

Kate Sommer became the WSU career digs record-holder Oct. 18, 2015, when she surpassed Kelly Hyder's 1,773 career digs, set from 2006-2009...Sommer is the lone senior on the Cougars 2015 squad...Sommer, from Pacific Palisades, Calif., also passed one of her coaches, WSU assistant Shannon Wyckoff Hunt, who tallied 1,254 digs from 1994-97 as an all-round position player due to the libero position coming into NCAA play in 1999...Sommer has accumulated 1,803 digs to date.
