Earned two letters at Holy Names Academy in volleyball as middle blocker for coach Brian Richards....as a junior led the Cougars in blocks and was second on the team in kills...senior season, captained team to fifth-place in 3A state tournament and 19-9 record...second in Metro Mountain League and in district playoffs...led team in kills, blocks and aces...named to prepvolleyball.com's senior aces list...member of Thunder 18s Volleyball Club...qualified for Junior Olympics...played in Volleyball Festival.

Born in December 1989, in Seattle, Wash...father Frederick owns a company and is a broker to independent contractors...mother Beverly is a homemaker...brothers Fred, Sekou, Imamu and Umar...sisters Anna, Josie, Tamu...both Sekou and Fred played football at University of Washington...co-captained of the school's speech and debate team...placed third in state for dramatic interpretive reading...likes to play beach volleyball...majoring in elementary education at WSU.
