Played for Coach Palileo at South Dakota State...developed into strong presence for Jackrabbits at middle blocker...took redshirt freshman year in 2004...played in all 35 matches in 2005, starting 29 at middle blocker...posted double-figure kills in five matches...competed in 2005 NCAA Div. I Independent Championships...sophomore year (2006) started 21 of 24 matches played...double-digit kills in eight matches...averaged 2.26 kpg and 0.78 bpg...set school three-game match record by hitting .812 (13 kills, 0 errors, 16 attacks) against Xavier in 2007...again played in NCAA D-I Independent tournament...against North Dakota State contributed 10 kills, six digs, three blocks, and two service aces...starting middle blocker on 2007 Summit League Championship team...second-leading blocker on team with 0.94 bpg average...also chipped in 2.25 kpg and 3.16 points per game...career 245 block assists is 10th on SDSU all-time records.
