Earned nine varsity sports letters at Las Cruces High including three for volleyball coach Keith Leupold…also competed in basketball, track and softball…during her SOPHOMORE year, the Bulldawgs' volleyball team won the district and state championships…team went 19-4…earned all-state first team honors…as a JUNIOR, volleyball team repeated as state champions with 23-1 record…named all-district and all-state first teams…earned first team all-district basketball honors…in state standings, was third in scoring and eighth in rebounding…hoops team captain…won triple jump title at District 3-4A meet…named all-district for track…SENIOR year volleyball team advanced to state quarterfinals…named to all-district and all-state volleyball first teams…also garnered South all-star and best offense recognition…team captain…selected Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year for the state of New Mexico…suffered ACL tear during first week of basketball practice followed by surgery and rehabilition for rest of the year...named Sun-News Female Athlete of the Year.
