FRESHMAN (1998): Invited walk-on player...did not see game action...spent 1999 spring practice as Cougar setter, playing in all tournaments.

MILLER'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned 11 varsity letters at Sehome High...played varsity volleyball for coach Steve Evans and basketball for coach Mike McKee all four years...three-time softball letterwinner...as a freshman, Mariners volleyball team placed third in league, fourth in district...basketball squad also third in league...second team All-WESCO league...voted most improved on both basketball and softball teams...during her sophomore year, volleyball won league title and finished third in district...selected first team all-league...voted most improved by team...basketball squad was fifth in league, third in district and eighth in state...earned second-team all-league honors...voted team MVP...in first season to play fastpitch softball, earned first-team all-league honors at centerfield...junior year brought volleyball league and district championships...fifth at AAA state...finished 31-6...tabbed first team all-league...received sportsmanship medal at state tournament...won team Coaches' Award...hoops team also won league title...placed fourth in district, did not place at state playoffs...selected to first team all-league...team MVP...wrapped up prep career senior year as captain of volleyball team that placed second in league, third in district and third at state 4A tournament (30-8)...first team all-league...all-state tournament team...given sportsmanship medal at state tournament...team MVP...finished prep with 2,137 assists and 548 kills...Mariners basketball team finished first in league, third in district and fifth in state playoffs (25-4)...named WESCO League MVP...second team all-state...Bellingham Herald all-county MVP...career points - 1,313...received Cliff Gilles Award for outstanding sportsmanship, leadership and academics at Sehome High.
