Earned four letters in basketball at Shadle Park High School under head coach Tim Gaebe...also lettered one year in both baseball and golf...as a freshman the Highlanders compiled a 20-7 overall record, becoming district champions while qualifying for State...averaged 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds as a sophomore...named second team All-Greater Spokane League as team became district and regional championships...Highlanders placed sixth at State championship with a 22-6 overall record...served as team captain as a junior...played six games and team compiled a 4-2 record before breaking a bone in his left foot in December of 2010...missed the remainder of the season, but averaged 19.0 points and 10.0 rebounds a game in those six games...the team one just one more game the entire season...named team's Most Inspirational...served as team captain once again as a senior...was a McDonald's All-American Nominee and first team All-GSL.
