Final Tournament Results 
SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - The Washington State men's golf team concluded its fall season Tuesday with a third place finish in the Bill Cullum Invitational in Simi Valley, Calif. The men's team was led in Tuesday's final round by redshirt sophomore Sang Lee, who finished the tournament 4-under par and in fourth place.
The Cougar men fell one spot on the leaderboard in the final 18 holes after shooting 5-over par collectively Tuesday. The team finished in third place behind San Diego (first, -14) and Pac-12 Conference foe Arizona State (second, -5). The WSU men's team finished 2-over par for the tournament.
Lee closed out the tournament by matching his first round mark of 71 (-1), bringing his final tournament score to par down to 4-under. In the second round, Lee matched teammate Hank Frame's first round score of 70 (-2), which was the best single-round score for the Cougars in the competition. His three-round score of 212 earned him fourth place outright, marking his third top-10 finish in five tournaments. Frame earned his fourth top-10 finish of the fall season, finishing tied for fifth place in the competition. He carded a 72 (even par) in Tuesday's final round and ended up one stroke behind Lee at 3-under overall.
"Sang and Hank led us," Head Coach Garrett Clegg said. "We slipped a little today, which was disappointing. But all in all, this was a good tournament for us, and a good fall season."
WSU sophomore Michael Anderson ranked in the top 25 of the tournament. Anderson posted a three-round score of 220 (+4) and tied for 19th place.
Tuesday's final round of the Bill Cullum Invitational marked the last round of competition for the Cougar men in the fall season. Looking forward, the team will open its spring season in Hawaii in February 2013 at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate.
