- Brock Motum led WSU with 27 points, tying his career high...he's scored 20-plus in the last two games (26 against Oregon State)...he also scored 27 against Santa Clara Dec. 11.
- WSU played its first overtime game of the season...it is now 2-5 under Bone in overtime games.
- The Cougars are now 2-14 all-time against Utah and 1-11 at Utah.
- WSU's 23 first-half points is a season low...previous was 26 against Pepperdine (Dec. 22)...its nine field goals made ties the season low.
- The Cougars also shot a season first-half low .400 from the free throw line (2-for-5).
