Washington State Notes:
- Brock Motum scored a career-high 19 points...previous high was 14 does twice, last was Nov. 13 of this season against Southern.
- Motum made and attempted career high free throws as he went 7-for-9 from the charity stripe.
- All five Cougars that scored reached double figures (Motum-19, Aden-18, Casto-14, Thompson-13 and Moore-11).
- The Cougars got their first win over Cal since Feb. 28, 2008...had lost five-straight to the Golden Bears...head coach Ken Bone got his first win over California, is now 1-3.
- WSU led at halftime, 25-23...moved to 13-1 when leading at the half.
- For the time being, WSU moved into sole possession of fourth place in the league.
- The Cougars have one more overall and conference win than last season's totals at 17-8 overall and 7-6 in Pac-10 play.
