In the same race, WSU junior Ashlee Wall (Walla Walla) ran a time of 37:33.17 for 28th.

Also Thursday night, senior Mark Moeller (Spokane) ran a lifetime-best 10,000m time of 30:18.06 for 25th place in the men's Olympic Development University/Open race.

The Cougars track and field teams continue competing Friday and Saturday at the Mt.
