Tempe, Ariz. - The Washington State women's golf team is currently in 17th place at the Ping ASU Invitational after the second day. The team posted a 305 (+17) on the second day of the tournament, improving by three strokes.

The team is currently led by freshman Emma Betland who fired a 75 (+3) in the second day for a two-round total of 151 (+7) and is in a tie for 51th. Fellow freshman Ali Thompson carded a 74 (+2) in round two for a tournament total of 152 (+8).

Sophomore Kristen Allard posted a 76 (+4) for a two-round total of 154 (+10). Junior Allison Travis carded an 80 (+8) in the second round for a tournament-total of 156 (+12). Freshman Ellen Park posted an 87 (+15).

The final day of the tournament will continue tomorrow with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m.
