Complete First-Day Results
Junior Kristen Allard led Washington State with a 4-over 75 during first-round play at the 2010 Pac-10 - SEC Challenge, held on the par 71, 6,148-yard Stanford Golf Course.
The Cougars completed the first round with a score of 315 (+31) and is in 18th place in the 21-team field. WSU's first-day score was ahead of the nation's top-ranked team, LSU, which sits one stroke behind.
Allard's score included three birdies on the day and places her in a tie for 49th. The 75 marks her second-lowest score of the fall season. She was followed by freshman teammate Mallory Kent, who opened the tournament with a 7-over 78, finishing in a tie for 77th. Sophomore Ellen Park completed the track at 9-over (80) and is tied for 85th.
Sophomores Emma Betland and Ali Thompson each posted opening-round score of 82 (+11) and are tied for 94th.
Play continues Saturday with the second round scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
