Boulder City, Nev. - The Washington State women's golf team moved up two places to 16th after the second round of the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational at the par-72, 6,234-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club.
Amy Eneroth led the Cougar squad carding a 71 (-1) on the round and a 153 (+9) for the tournament. The senior out of Spokane, Wash., moved up 23 places on the individual leader board and will start the third round in a tie for 25th. A top 25 finish for Eneroth would mark the 33rd of her career.
Freshman Andrea Rosete posted a 75 (+3) during the second round and a 157 for the tournament. The finish was good enough to move her up six places individually and she will head into the final round in a tie for 42nd.
Senior Jessica Black, sophomore Allison Travis and freshman Kristen Allard rounded out the WSU lineup. Black finished the day with a two-round total of 165 while Travis and Allard were close behind finishing with a 166 and 167 respectively.
The third and final round will begin tomorrow morning with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. Check www.golfstat.com for live scoring.
