Final Score: Washington State 67, Eastern Washington 61

Washington State Notes:

Klay Thompson started the game 0-for-6 from the field, before making five of his next six shots...he led all scorers with 24 points.

Thompson has already shot 23 free throws in two games this season...last year he shot 31 total free throws.

DeAngelo Casto attempted a career-high 16 field goals, finishing with 16 points.

Freshman Reggie Moore has scored in double figures in both his games as a Cougar.

WSU improved to 53-11 all-time versus Eastern Washington...notched its third-straight victory over the Eagles.

First year WSU head coach Ken Bone improved to 5-5 all-time against EWU, after going 4-5 as head coach at Portland State.

After scoring 20 in the season opener against Portland, EWU's Benny Valentine was held to five points (two of them from the free throw line...was 1-for-7 from the field).

Redshirt freshman James Watson saw his first action as a Cougar, recoding a blocked shots and three rebounds.
