- Klay Thompson scored a career-high 28 points...previous best was 19 against Mississippi State (Nov. 28).
- Thompson's eight 3-pointers are the most by a Cougar this season...the school record is nine done four times (last Derrick Low vs. Oregon, Jan. 27, 2007).
- Thompson's best 3-point field goal percentage this season when making at least two (.800)...previous was .667 (2-for-3) against California...was .600 (3-for-5) against USC.
- His eight 3-pointers is a WSU freshman record...his 28 points are tied for third-most by a WSU freshman.
- Thompson's 10 field goals made ties the WSU freshman record.
- Aron Baynes and Klay Thompson became the first Cougar duo this season to score 20-plus points...Baynes finished with a season-high 22...first duo to score 20-plus since Taylor Rochestie (24) and Derrick Low (21) at Oregon State, Feb. 14, 2008.
- The Cougars got their first win over a top-25 opponent since defeating No. 15 Notre Dame in the NCAA Tournament March 22, 2008...first road win over a top-25 win since defeating No. 24 Arizona State Jan. 26, 2008...first win over a ranked opponent when WSU wasn't ranked since defeating No. 7 Arizona, Jan. 6, 2007.
- Mike Harthun saw his first action since playing two minutes against Washington (Jan. 5)...just the third time all season he's appeared in the first half.
- WSU is 55 of last 57 from the free throw line in last four games.
