CORVALLIS, Ore. - Ben Bryson tied for 21st place at the Northwest Collegiate Classic in Corvallis, Ore., Tuesday.

Bryson, a senior, shot 217 (+1) over three rounds.

The Cougars finished in 8th place as a team in their first tournament of the year after shooting 873 (+9).

In his first tournament as a Cougar since transferring last year from Pepperdine, David Fern, a redshirt junior, finished in 34th with a three-round total of 220 (+4).

Redshirt sophomore Jordan Madison, freshman Jordan Mason and sophomore Chris Collins each tied for 46th with a 222 (+6). Collins fired a 68 (-4) to tie the lowest score in the final round.

The next tournament for the Cougars is the Northern Intercollegiate Invitational at Madison, Wis., Sept. 18-19.
