- Email:
Bridget Adams joined Washington State University Athletics in January 2026 as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Administration. In this role, she serves as a strategic advisor and integrator for the department, leading cross-functional priorities and special projects, aligning executive initiatives, and supporting senior leadership decision-making. Adams serves as the primary liaison to the President’s Office, coordinates Board of Regents strategy and issues, and oversees the WSU Athletics Business Office. She also provides leadership for department-wide operations, including strategic planning, campus engagement, and system development that strengthens organizational alignment and long-term success.
Â
A proud alumna of Washington State University, Adams began her career in collegiate athletics in 2011 with WSU Athletics, where she served in progressively responsible leadership roles within the Cougar Athletic Fund. Her work encompassed customer service, financial systems, donor engagement, stewardship, events, and internal operations. Throughout her tenure, Adams was recognized as a culture-builder and operational leader, known for developing people, strengthening teams, and building systems that improved efficiency, consistency, and strategic focus.
Â
In 2022, Adams transitioned to Student Affairs, broadening her perspective on the university as a whole. During this time, she led division-wide initiatives focused on onboarding, employee engagement, strategic planning, and performance review redesign to better align performance, growth, and organizational strategy. The relationships she built across campus—and her deep understanding of university operations—are instrumental in strengthening collaboration with campus partners and enhancing the overall student-athlete experience.
Â
An operational strategist and people-centered leader, Adams builds strong systems, teams, and cultures that allow organizations to focus on strategic, mission-driven work. A first-generation college graduate and WSU alumna, she is deeply motivated by the transformative power of higher education and athletics. This belief shapes her leadership philosophy and fuels her commitment to making WSU—and each individual student-athlete and staff experience—the best it can be.
Bridget and her husband, Mario, have two daughters, Peyton and Parker, and are co-founders of Adams Sports Academy in Pullman. Through the academy, they live out a shared mission of transforming lives through the game of basketball and remain deeply committed to serving the local community.
